Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad

Yesterday my parents celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary. My dad had to be here in Memphis working so we cooked him a special dinner last night. Addisyn was so excited to have a fancy dinner party. I don't know if you can tell but she dressed up as a bride since grandmother wasn't here to celebrate her getting married. It was lots of fun, and the food was awesome too.

This next picture of Bradley cracked me up. this is how I found him when I came into the kitchen today. I'm not sure what he was looking for.

More pics of beach trip

Family Photo Shoot

the red turned out better than I thought for a beach picture.

Family vacation

We took a family vacation to the beach last week and had a great time. My whole side of the family comes down for the week, and we have a great time together. It's sort of become a tradition. Addisyn was so much braver in the ocean than she's ever been before. She was "snorkeling", well at least going under, and boogie boarding. She had the time of her life. It took Bradley a bit to get used to the sand and waves. He didn't like the squishing of the sand under his toes, but he soon was right there behind Addisyn. Jay spent some time golfing while there, and I laid out and caught up on some fun reads I've had. It was really great to have all of my family there. It is so much fun when we are all together. Can't wait till next trip.

Tennis anyone?

Addisyn is in her 2nd week of tennis camp, and she has loved every minute of it. Tennis is something I loved playing in high school, and still like to play in my spare time. She is the youngest and smallest kid out there, but she definitely holds her own. Not bragging, but she is really good. She has gotten a ton better as the camp's gone on, and she actually has good form. She loves playing sports and always tries her best no matter what the sport is. Bradley has not enjoyed sitting in the stands.

We had a great 4th of July weekend. We celebrated Jay's birthday with family, and spent the weekend relaxing at the pool, shooting fireworks, and eating homemade ice cream (one of my favorite things).
