Update

So I've been a terrible slacker for a long time, but we have been so busy. In one month I had 2 family members get married (my cousin, and my sister in law), Thanksgiving, St. Jude Marathon, my sister graduated from college, Bama winning the SEC Championship, and a whole lot of other visits from our families. It has been great, but I am so exhausted. Now that everything is over I can focus on Christmas, which is 3 days away. Oh and Bradley has a stomach bug, and we all feel yucky. I also don't have very many pictures because my camera got lost over a month ago. I am still looking for that thing, anyways here's a few pics I got from family members.

Halloween fun

We had a fun Halloween this year. Bradley was Elvis and Addisyn well she wore 3 different costumes. For our church party she went as Belle from Beauty and the Beast, to her school party she went as Fancy Nancy, and for Halloween she went as a 50's girl with a poodle skirt. I told her you usually only wear 1 costume at Halloween, but she insisted that she could not be the same thing each time. Oh well, at least I didn't have to buy any of the costumes we just pulled from her dressup clothes. Bradley totally hated his costume until he learned that when I dressed him in it each time he got candy. So he settled. He was so cute, and made a great Elvis. I taught him how to say Thank You, Thank You Very Much. It was hilarious.

Her favorite thing was getting the medal

WEll I've been keeping myself very busy lately with projects and birthdays. Addisyn turned 5 on the 2nd and she had a party at a gymnastics place in town. She is growing up so fast. She is into everything too old for her, but she still has the same sweet smile and attitude. I can't believe she's already 5. Here are some birthday pictures, and i'll post ones of my projects later.

Happy Birthday

Today is Bradley's bday and he is 2. I can't believe how fast these past 2 years were. He is such a handsome guy, and a joy to have in our family. We had a fun party with some friends this morning, then tonight we are going to Disney on Ice, and tomorrow we'll have another party with family. He loves singing the Happy Birthday song and blowing out the candles, even if there's not a cake/candles he still blows. He is so funny, copies everything Addisyn does, and loves playing. His favorite things to do right now are throw balls, push his cars around, and dance. I tell ya he has been shaking his booty since before he could walk. Anyways we love you Bradley and are ready for a fun weekend.

Bama weekend

Had a great time in T-town this weekend. We celebrated my sister Lauren's bday and went to the Bama game. The weather was not very cooperative but we were in a box so the rain didn't bother us. We took Addisyn to the game and she was so into it. I thought she'd lose interest after awhile, but she didn't. She really loved watching the game through the binoculars even though she didn't need them; our seats were great. After the game we got to go down on the field since Jay played for Bama, and we checked out the field. It was so cool. Addisyn did a cheer on the field just like the cheerleaders and she and Jay ran in a few touchdowns. I wish Bradley could have gone with us, but he had a pretty bad cough so he stayed with Grandmother and Aunt Dena. I'm not sure if he had more fun or them, but at least he didn't know he was missing anything. The last picture I posted is of him playing a game on my Iphone. I downloaded a few kid games and some videos on there, and he can totally work my phone, and he's not even 2 yet! We got to see lots of family and hang out with some friends from college during the game. It was so great to see them.We are ready to go back. Roll Tide Roll!

Addisyn 1st Soccer game

Isn't she so cute
High 5's with the girls on her team
Addisyn with some of her friends

Addisyn has been wanting to play soccer, and she is finally old enough to play in the league here. Jay is helping coach her team, and it's fun to see the two of them together out there. Addisyn really loves it, and she's pretty good (there are no goalies so maybe that helps :)). They won their first game and Addisyn scored 2 goals. Go Dragons!

Congratulations Aunt Kimmy

Jay's sister Kim recently got engaged to a great guy. We are so excited to have you Kemper in the family. We are lucky to get to know Kemper better since he is doing an internship at Jay's firm. Addisyn and Bradley do not give him a moments peace when he's here. Hope ya'll don't mind me using this pic. We love you.

Addisyn's 1st day of Preschool

So my little shadow has started preschool, and I miss her terribly. She has been so excited about starting school and was ready way to early this morning. I could tell this morning that she was pretty nervous but still excited. She has a habit of when she gets nervous she snaps her fingers, so as we were walking into her school she was snapping the whole way. It was so cute. Then as we got in her room she turned to me gave me a big hug and said, "Mom I'll never forget you. You have been the best mom." Talk about trying to not cry. I reassured her (or myself) it was only for a couple of hours, and I would be there to pick her up. She is too funny. Bradley misses her alot too. He's been going around saying "sister, sister". I am looking forward to spending some one on one time with my little man.

Going Private

So I have decided to make our blog private. I've thought about doing it for a while and I've just been putting it off. However I've decided to do it. So if you'd like to keep in touch with us leave me your email and I'll add you to the list.

Fun times

We had a blast this weekend spending time with each other and friends. Friday night a group of us got together and took our kids to Incredible Pizza. They had a blast playing all the games, even us adults got into it. On Saturday I took Addisyn shopping for school stuff. She's only going to pre-K but it's totally the real thing for her, and we had to get ready. Later we went out to a church picnic in Mississippi and played tons of games, went fishing, and grilled out. The kids were so hot and dirty by the end of the night. I told Jay Bradley has never been as dirty as he was Saturday night in the almost 2 years of his life. I couldn't even take a picture of it he was so filthy, but he enjoyed himself big time.

Visits from the Aunts

Last week Aunt Sarah and Aunt Lauren came to visit for a couple of days. It was so good to have them, because we weren't expecting them. Sarah and I took the kids to see the preview for Disney's new movie A Christmas Carol. It was really good, and the kids got to go on this train they showed how they made the movie and all the behind the scenes stuff. We were going to have a picnic lunch by the river later, but I forgot the picnic at home. Really great mom, huh. I was so mad at myself. We ended up having to have McDonald's by the river instead. Oh well, the kids still had fun. Thanks for coming to visit.

My little man

So things seemed way easier when I had just one child. Maybe it's because #2 is a boy but he gets away with more, and his little personality is something else. He just melts my heart and is hysterical. This is him eating breakfast with his feet on the table, and the other one is of his I'm not happy right now; which he gives alot here lately

Zoo Trip

Yesterday we took the kids to the zoo in Memphis. They had a blast, and so did Jay and I. Bradley was really fascinated by all the animals. It was his first time to ever go, and I think he was amazed that these animals we read about in books were indeed real. Addisyn was really into learning about all the animals. We can't wait to go back.
