So I am a little late posting this, but better late than never. We had a fun day with Jay on Father's Day. Addisyn loves planning things and doing surprises - even if she does tell them beforehand. We had a nice breakfast first, then Addisyn did a beautiful job singing in church with the other children (she was so excited and proud of herself), and for dinner we cooked one of Jay's many favorite dishes chicken enchiladas. After we ate we went to a park and took a nice walk and Jay taught Addisyn how to skip rocks across the pod there. It was much fun just being together. It is times like this that I will always remember and cherish - priceless memories!!!!! Jay you are a wonderful husband and father. I love you!

An Addie Funny!!!

I love it when kids say the cutest and funniest things. Sometimes it's hard to keep a straight face though. This is what happened last night while Addisyn was waiting on me to giver her a bath.

Addisyn: Mom you need to come to the bathroom there's a commotion going on in here.

Me: A commotion?

Addisyn: Yes, the soap causing a commotion.

I enter the bathroom to find the Conditioner bottle squished and overflowing with conditioner everywhere.

Me: How did the soap do this?

Addisyn: I squished it.

Me: Uh-huh I see. Lets not do that again.

Addisyn: That's cool mom.

What do you do??

Yesterday the kids and I went out to do a little father's day shopping. Let me just say Addisyn loves to shop as do I and us two together were not productive, that is at least for father's day gifts. We left the store with no father's day gift, but I came away with the cutest sandals and Addisyn picked out a pair of very stylin sunglasses. She is my little mini-me, What can I say we love accessories!! Oh, and I had to post another picture of my handsome little man because I mean look at that face who could resist not to.

Just because....

I know I probably put up way toooooo many pics of the kids, but my new camera takes such great pictures all of them turn out soooooooooo good I can't ever choose.

Life in the fast lane

In an earlier post I said we were going to be super busy and that has proved to be true. In one week we have had a wedding, death, birth, and birthday parties. It has been great visiting with mine and Jay's families, but we are ready to take a break from traveling and celebrating for a bit at least.
