Helpers

Where would I be without my little helpers? Maybe I'd have more stuff done, get more sleep, or be better organized, but I'd miss the precious moments and memories with them. Addisyn & Bradley love to "help" out all the time with everything. I hope this can only last. If Addisyn is doing it then he is definitely going to be do it too. No job is too big or too old for them

SNOW!!!!

I'm a little late on this post, but last week we woke up to quite a downfall of snow (at least for here). It didn't last for more than a couple of hours, but it was exciting while it was here. Addisyn tried to eat as much as she could and desperately tried to do a snow angel and make a snowball, but it just wasn't enough. Bradley liked it pretty well. At first he wasn't too sure about it especially with Addisyn eating stuff falling through the air, but he enjoyed wiping it off of his toys the most.

Too much TV

Last Sunday I woke up feeling absolutely miserable. Well I caught the flu and it was horrible. I have not been that sick or felt so bad in a really long time. Usually I can keep going when I'm sick but there was no going or doing for a couple of days. Luckily no one else got it. Well I spent all of Sunday in bed and the next 2 days I got up to just function for the kids till Jay came home from work. Needless to say they watched a bunch of TV on Monday and Tuesday. I didn't realize how much they had watched till the other day. I ws getting ready to go somewhere and Addisyn was watching me put on my makeup, when she tells me "Mom those other mascara's just won't do you need the new spin lash brush mascara. It will revolutionize your look. Just look at the changes and you'llsee it." I died out laughing. She was so serious and matter of factly. I told her I'd definitely have to check this out. She is the ultimate consumer and shopper, any thing she sees on tv we just have to have (or so she thinks). I love her sweet innocence and her cute little personality. So if you want to try revolutionizing your wardrobe go look for the new spin lash mascara!

Here are a couple of fun pictures from our Christmas weekend in Haleyville.

The final recap

So to officially recap the past month we finished off celebrating Christmas with my family after The New Year. It was the only time everyone's schedules could work. WE had tons of fun that weekend. We Rock Banded it, caught up on movies, and basically did nothing; which is what I needed the most. And of course the kids got way more presents, as if we didn't have enough already - Oh well!

Her Big Girl bike from my parents
Bradley with his new ride (he wouldn't give us time to take it out of the box)

6 years together

As soon as we got home from Christmas in Kentucky Jay and I went to a beautiful, romantic bed& breakfast to celebrate our anniversary - 6 years. The place is called Bon Terre and is not very far from Collierville, but it was far enough to still feel like we went away. It was wonderful relaxing, being pampered, and spending time with just Jay. These past 6 years have flown by so fast, and have truly been wonderful. I love you Jay. Thanks for all you do.

Christmas morning
Addisyn's dollhouse
Addisyn & Elsa
So we are back in town finally after a long but wonderful holiday season. We are back in town and have no plans of going anywhere for a while. We spent the week of Christmas in Louisville with Jay's family and had a great time. Addisyn had a blast with her cousins. She misses being with them so much. The kids were definitely overloaded with gifts. Addisyn's favorite gift was a dollhouse that Jay built for her. I am so proud of him for doing it, and a special thanks to you Jeremy for your help and expertise. I'll catch up later on the rest of the festivities. I'm just tired.
