Twilight in Central Park

This was the theme of Canella, my youngest sister, prom. I can't believe that she is old enough to go to prom. She is a junior so she spent all last week decorating the gymnasium and lawn for it. It was really pretty, and Canella looked beautiful. Her dress was awesome. It had these large black & clear sequence all over that made the dress look a different color each time light hit it. I am so glad that I got to go home and see her get all fixed up. Addisyn loved seeing Aunt Canella all "fancy and going to dance at the ball". Addisyn thought it was just like the story Cinderella. Addisyn was upset that she couldn't go.

A little bit of heaven...

Yesterday when Jay got off work he took the kids and sent me to my favorite spa, Serenity Day Spa, for a full body massage and facial. I loved every single minute of it. A warm uninterrupted bath would have been all right too, but this was heaven. The massage was wonderful and so relaxing, but the facial was the best. My skin feels so silky smoothe and is more vibrant. I have such a wonderful husband. I am so thankful for all that he does for our family, and that he does little extra things to take care of me. I love you Jay!!!

Bradley is 6 months old today. He is such a sweet little boy and pure joy. He is doing so many new things here lately. He has mastered rolling and can get just about anywhere he wants to by rolling there. He does a good job sitting up, but still needs support. He has the cutest little voice and laugh. He makes sure we know he's apart of everything by squealing. It is so precious. He loves to be cuddled and loved on all the time. He loves to eat his toes and blankets; he puts everything in his mouth. He is such a good baby. I love him so much.

Easter time, Family time

We had a great Easter weekend. Jay was off work Friday so we went and spent 3 days in Alabama with my family. Everyone came into town on Saturday and we spent the weekend chippin golf balls in the front yard, flying kites (trying to), playing tennis, eating good food, and hanging out. It's so much fun when we all get to come home and spend time together. My sisters and I live pretty far apart and all very busy so it's not too often we can all get together. I love it when we do. I was also able to see a lot of friends I grew up with I hadn't seen in a while. We came home tired and nursing pulled muscles (Jay), but we all had a great time.

Happy Hunting

Addisyn loved hunting for Easter eggs. Each time she had to count out how many she got just to make sure she won. She was so funny counting because they had to be lined up perfectly. Bradley enjoyed thinking he was doing something she was.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

On Friday it snowed in Memphis 5 inches. We have missed every other snow chance this winter and two weeks before spring we get 5 inches. I mean just the weekend before it was 70 degrees here; that's Memphis weather I guess for ya. I wasn't thankful for the snow because I am ready for spring, but it was tons of fun playing in it with Addisyn. She loved every minute of it. Bradley even liked watching it fall from the sky. We had snowball fights, made snow angels, built snowmen, went sledding, ate some snow, and then warmed up with hot chocolate and marshmellows. We played in the snow for 2 straight days, all day. It was fun making memories!

5 months old

I can't believe he's already 5 months old. He is growing so fast. This week he hit a lot of little milestones in his life: he rolled over for the first time, ate infant cereal for the first time, and really found his little voice. It was so cute watching him try and try to roll over. I wanted to help him so bad b/c he was working so hard at it, but I just cheered him on and he did it. We had better watch out now! He woke up one morning and it was like he learned to talk in his sleep. He coo's and giggles all the time. I couldn't resist taking a picture of his little feet while he was sleeping the other day. I love baby toes and feet. In this bottom picture I was trying to take a good profile shot of him, but this is as good as I could do.
